Well today it arrived, giving me information about my pre-op appointment and my admitance. Seems I have to call in the morning on the 11th October to be sure they have a bed " allowing for emergencies" I presume. Wow they sent me a letter and I didn't even have to call and ask for one. Odd letter though, sit says  I might want to bring a pen. Very confusing. No information on possible surgery date though. My son, brother and sister in law wish to take the day off work to be there for me on that day, you know just in case.. So I called the ward and the young man I spoke too had no idea at all and said he would get one of the nurses to call me back... well how amusing. Here I am, two weeks later still waiting for that call. Never mind got the pre-op on the 29th, hoping to get more information then, especially about the "pen"..
